Some locks (i.e., Contour) have an internal Wi-Fi Bridge and does not need an external Wi-Fi bridge to connect to the internet. Other models (i.e., Cloud) need to have an External Wi-Fi bridge to connect to the internet.
In order for the Wi-Fi Bridge to work properly, it must be placed within 15 feet of the lock.
